Explanation/Hydrosphere/Draft

Did you know the hydrosphere includes all the water on Earth. The range of surface temperatures and pressures of our planet allow water to exist in all three states: solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapour). ... Over the past one million years the earth has gone through periodic glacial and interglacial cycles.

HYDROSPHERE

1st Paragraph

the water cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration. The water or hydrolic is a continues cycle where water evaporates. Water keeps moving and changing from a solid to a liquid to a gas, over and over again.

2nd paragraph

Saltwater is denser than fresh water because of its salt content. There is 3% of fresh water and 95% of salty water. Saltwater is made when freshwater moves over land. Saltwater is denser than freshwater so will sink below the freshwater.

3rd paragraph

hydrosphere is the total amount of water on a planet. The hydrosphere includes water that is on the surface of the planet, underground, and in the air. A planet's hydrosphere can be liquidvapour, or iceOn Earth, liquid water exists on the surface in the form of oceans, lakes and rivers. It also exists below ground—as groundwater, in wells and aquifers. Water vapour is most visible as clouds and fogThe frozen part of Earth's hydrosphere is made of ice: glaciers, ice caps and icebergs. The frozen part of the hydrosphere has its own name, the cryosphere

Conclusion:
I love the way I learned about hydrosphere and I would like to learn about the 4 spheres because they are very interesting.

Term 3 recount

This is my recount about Kiwi Can. If you can find any thing that I can improve on please leave a comment.
Term 3 Recount
Last Monday Mrs Mcgunnity's inquiry group went to kiwi can.  We played a funny game called chuck the cow. First we split up into two groups.  One group had to sit in a big circle and the other group had to spread out in the hall somewhere. I was in the team that was sitting in the circle.

When we were passing the cow around the circle when  Nathan shouted out  chuck the chicken but it was really a cow that sounds like a pig.  All of us shouted at christian to chuck the cow out the window because the window was open and because no one was outside.

So Christian threw the cow out the window but he didn’t know Michael was marking the door so he can just run out the door and chuck it back in so his team can form a straight line. They have to go over and under until the chicken gets to the end.

When the cow got to the end the person with the cow at the end has to come all the way to the front and start over while the other group runs in a circle.  When I chucked the cow out the door I ran as fast as I can around the circle so the other person can run around the circle to.

When we vs the other team we lost 2 times but we won 1 time. When we switched over I quickly ran to the window to mark it so they don’t chuck it out the window. When we spreaded out in the hall Michael threw the cow and I caught it then we lined a up in a straight line.

I would love to play this with my family and teach them how to play.  It felt  amazing playing with some more people and it felt incredible for Katie and Nathan to teach us this funny and new game.  When I play this game again I hope there's more people to play with.

Recount Writing about Kiwican

                                       Recount Writing

On Tuesdays Mr Breach’s Maths group go to Kiwi Can.

As soon as we completed our morning roll  we walked over to the hall where we meet up with Riki and Katie. As soon as we walked into the hall we got told to sit down on the carpet in four rows. Finally we talked about what we have been doing in the weekends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     As soon as we finished talking about what we have been doing in the weekend we played some games. The first game was when Riki showed us some pictures of famous role model on his laptop and we had to pick which side we stand on. There was a bad role model side. A not sure side and a good role model side.

When Riki showed the picture of Kieran Read I stood in the good role model side because he is the new captain of the All Blacks and he leads his team around.

When he showed the picture of Shaun Johnson I stood in the good role model side because he leads his team even tho he is not the captain of the warriors but he stills leads his team around.

The last game we played was GKQ when it was my turn to go up I got the answer of Riki’s question.
