Safety in the labratory

1. You must follow the instructions given to you by your teacher
2. You must not enter the laboratory without your teacher
3. Report all breakages to your teacher
4. Safety goggles must be worn at all times when carrying practical activities
5. To avoid poisoning yourself. You must ever eat or drink in the lab
6. Shoes MUST be worn at all times

1. Not putting bag under the workbench or desk. Incase someone could trip over and they could drop something dangerous on the ground then something bad will happen.
2. Running around the lab is really dangerous because if you are running around and there is someone working on an extremely dangerous project and you run into them something will happen to them.
3. Not tying up your hair is dangerous for girls because if you are doing something like trying to heat up something and your hair is down you could burn your hair.
4. Shaking a test tube with your thumb over it’s mouth is very dangerous because if there something dangerous in it and you put your thumb on top of the mouth your thumb might come off or your thumb might burn.
5. Entering the lab without your shoes is not good because their might be someone that dropped something and you step on it, it might do something bad to your feet.
